Custom Design Service
Full cycle design service of hearing aid from concept to production
Custom Design Services
Our Custom Design Service provides comprehensive hearing aid solutions, from concept and industrial design to structure, PCBA, full system, and production. Powered by our LyraOS algorithms and chipset, we offer end-to-end software and hardware total solution. We help customers create highly personalized hearing aids with advanced features, including cloud-based intelligence, AIoT connectivity for smart device integration, digital health tracking, and vital monitoring.
1Requirements
- Client Consultation: Discuss project goals, target audience, hearing types (e.g., air-conduct, bone-conduct, open-ear etc.) and specific needs (e.g., AI, health monitoring).
- Market Research: Analyze industry trends and competitor products to ensure the design meets current demands.
- Technical Specification Definition: Establish core hearing aid features, performance standards, and regulatory requirements.
2Concept Design
- ·Initial Concept Development: Create multiple design concepts focused on form factor, ergonomics, and ease of use, keeping hearing aid size and comfort in mind.
- 3D Modeling & Prototyping: Design 3D models of the hearing aid shell and internal components. Build early-stage prototypes for testing.
- Feasibility Testing: Assess design feasibility in terms of sound quality, size, durability, APP fitting and tuning, and feature integration (e.g., AI, Bluetooth).
3System Architecture
- Hardware Design: Develop hardware architecture, including PCB layout, microphones, speakers, battery management, and wireless modules.
- Software Framework: Design the software platform (LyraOS) and chipset for hearing processing, AI algorithms.
- Component Selection: Choose components optimized for hearing aids, such as hearing aid-specific microphones, processors, and low-power chips.
4Development & Prototyping
- Hardware Prototyping: Build initial working prototypes to test hearing processing overall functionality.
- Software Development: Start coding the hearing aid application based on LyraOS, including fine-tuning audio algorithms for clarity and speech recognition.
- Prototype Integration: Continuously integrate hardware and software, testing for system stability, feature performance, and user experience.
5Testing & Refinement
- Acoustic & Performance Testing: Conduct extensive acoustic tests (e.g., frequency response, noise reduction) and real-world usability testing.
- User Trials & Feedback: Test prototypes with users to gather feedback on comfort, fit, and sound quality.
6Production & Support
- Pre-production & Quality Control: Set up small-scale production, optimize manufacturing processes, and QA
- Mass Production: Begin full-scale manufacturing, ensuring consistency in sound quality, comfort, and durability across all units.
- Post-Production Support & Software Updates: Offer customer support, provide ongoing software updates.
