  • Development history

    2018

Lyratone Technologies was founded, marking the beginning of our commitment to innovation in hearing technology.

    2019

The Lyratone Hearing App was launched on the Apple and Android app stores. Utilizing smartphone computing power, the app introduced WDRC and noise reduction hearing functions. It was one of the first apps to combine both hearing test and hearing aid capabilities. To date, the app has reached approximately 250,000 users. This was also the year we developed our first hearing aid, based on the Software-Defined Hearing (SDH) architecture. Simultaneously, Lyratone began R&D on embedded hearing systems using general-purpose System on Chip (SoC) platforms.

    2021

Lyratone released the first commercial version of the LyraOS embedded hearing SDK. Based on SDH architecture, this solution enabled one of top-tier earbud manufacturers to integrate advanced hearing features into their consumer electronics.

    2022

Lyratone made significant enhancements to LyraOS, improving its performance for prescription air conduction hearing aids built on the SDH architecture.

    2023

Lyratone launched its first full-device air conduction hearing aid, receiving FDA OTC certification. This device utilized 32-band WDRC technology and 12 nm chipset, offering superior sound quality and clarity.

    2024

Lyratone introduced its first bone conduction hearing aid, developed in collaboration with a strategic partner. Lyratone provided the core PCBA board, embedded with the LyraOS hearing algorithms SDK. Additionally, we completed the development of open-ear hearing aids, further expanding our product portfolio.

    2025

Lyratone continues to innovate, focusing on air conduction, bone conduction, and open-ear hearing aids for enterprise customers. All our products are built on the SDH architecture with a 12nm chipset, a significant advancement over the traditional hardware-defined hearing architecture, which typically uses a 56nm chipset. This ensures cutting-edge performance and scalability.
